Kilgore Economic Development Corp. has joined forces with PAK-SHER, a Kilgore company that has been an innovator in the design and manufacture of carryout and kitchen prep packaging since the early 1970's, to involve local students in a coop recycling program utilizing new equipment at the company.

Last week the Longview News Journal ran a story on the release of a report from the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M. The report states that the Longview metro area is the top spot in Texas for job growth.
During a recession cities throughout the nation are looking for opportunities to retain, expand and recruit businesses that will grow the tax base and employ citizens as well as invigorate their community’s economic health.
