Gregg County, Kilgore Economic Development Corporation and Longview Economic Development Corporation are offering a Foreign Trade Zone seminar March 2, 2010, from 9 AM to noon at the LeTourneau flight facility to introduce area manufacturers to the new Alternate Site Framework (ASF) designation of the Gregg County Foreign Trade Zone. The flight facility if located at East Texas Regional Airport on FM 349.
Charles H. Whiteside, founder and president of Ana-Lab Corporation in Kilgore, was awarded the Dan Kaspar award at the annual conference of the Texas Association of Business in Austin recently.
KEDC agreed this week to sell six acres to Louis Hall, owner of H&W Industrial Services in Longview. The real estate is in North Kilgore Industrial Park. Hall expects to move his company here by the end of summer. The firm will move from the gum, Valley area in western Harrison County.
Kilgore Economic Development Corp. on Monday approved selling six acres in North Kilgore Industrial Park to Louis Hall for $34,017.50. Hall is the owner of H&W Industrial Services, a company with 20 employees that sandblasts and paints oil, gas and water industrial equipment.
