A recently vacated seat on the Kilgore Economic Development Corporation's Board of Directors has been filled.

Kilgore City Council members appointed businessman Tom Mobley to succeed Karl F. Edmonds, Jr., who resigned due to health reasons and a concern for not being able to dedicate more time to the board this upcoming year.

The staff and Board of Directors of the Kilgore Economic Development  Corporation express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Edmonds for the time and dedication he committed to serving on the KEDC board.  He was an asset to the board and we hate to see him go.

Mobley will fill Edmonds' unexpired three-year term, ending September 30, 2009, as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer.  Mobley previously served on the KEDC board from 1994 to 2000.  We are happy to have him back aboard and look forward to working with him again.
