KEDC has hosted a number of events for various constituents in the past few weeks, including a CEO Roundtable, a Human Resources Luncheon, the Grand Opening of Synergy II, Open House at KEDC's new offices in Synergy Center and a Synergy Park property owners meeting.
As one result of our most recent survey of existing primary employers, KEDC is hosting a CEO Roundtable luncheon peridocally to facilitate discussion among executives. KEDC also facilitates discussion among human resource professionals quarterly in one of our most popular and productive services. Our last HR Luncheon featured a program on alternatives to standard Workers' Compensation programs. Both events provide information to business decision makers and keep KEDC current on issues afftecting the Kilgore business climate. Our goal is to know and address those issues so Kilgore employers can operate competitively.
Our Synergy II open house was well-attended despite inclement weather. The Phase II shell building provides an important element to Kilgore's inventory mix of sites and buildings. The grand opening of that building preceeded an Open House of our new offices at Synergy Center. We have moved and improved! The public open house showcased the various resources KEDC offers to local businesses seeking off-site training and meeting rooms as well as guest office space and business services.
