The Business Information Center of the Kilgore Small Business Development Center donated a SMART Technologies Airliner Wireless Slate to Kilgore Economic Development Corporation.
Brad Bunt, director of the Kilgore College SBDC, said the donation to KEDC will enhance the business services available to Kilgore employers through Synergy Center.
“This is a way to show solidarity with KEDC,” said Bunt. “It is an opportunity to benefit KEDC and enhance our joint training services.”
The Airliner Wireless Slate compliments already existing presentation and SMART Board capabilities at Synergy Center. Other business resources include large and small training rooms for off-site training, a conference room and guest office space. Sound Logic Integrations also demonstrated the presentation system capabilities at Synergy Center.
The Kilgore College Small Business Development Center (KCSBDC) provides counseling, training, and information to small businesses and prospective small business owners. The office is located in Longview with a service area that includes Gregg, Harrison, Rusk, Upshur, Marion, and Panola counties. The KCSBDC is a cooperative effort of Kilgore College and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
