Kilgore's Economic Development Corp. executive director Amanda Nobles has been selected to receive the Business and Expansion International's Individual Service award, according to a KEDC news release.
The news release stated Nobles will accept the award in August during a joint BREI/Southern Economic Development Council Conference in New Orleans. The award recognizes international entries in community and individual contributions to successful economic development programs.
Nobles has developed contracts that created 8,993 jobs and more than $195 million in investments into the city of Kilgore, according to the release.
