Halliburton Energy Services earned $300,000 from KEDC for investment in infrastructure improvements at its FM 349 Kilgore facility as Phase I of its expansion. The company agreed to invest up to $12,100,000 and add 120 new jobs over three years.

"KEDC is the hub of a business network I can’t find anywhere else,” said James Wright, facility manager for Halliburton in Kilgore. “This funding helps the community overall because as we are able to expand, we invest more, hire more people and deliver more to our customers.”

“We can help navigate the local waters,” said KEDC Board President Bobby Beane. “We appreciate Halliburton and what it does for the local economy.”

Halliburton, founded in 1919, is one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry.
