The members of Business Retention and Expansion International have elected Lisa Denton, Assistant Director for Kilgore Economic Development Corporation, for a three year term on the BREI board.
“Thank you so much for your willingness to continue making a great contribution to the organization,” said Nancy Eisenbrandt, president of the organization. “I look forward to our ongoing work together on BREI.”
“Lisa is a valued member of my staff,” said KEDC Executive Director Amanda Nobles. “As my assistant director she is well versed in all aspects of developing the Kilgore economy, and we are very lucky to have hired her.”
Denton has been with KEDC since 2004 and assists in all aspects of economic development for the city, including primary employer retention and expansion, budgeting, property management, tax abatement and economic development agreement compliance. She is a graduate of the Basic Economic Development Course at Texas A & M University and has earned the Economic Development Finance Professional Certification through the National Development Council. She has also earned the Business Retention and Expansion Professional Certification through BREI.Her career path includes office manager, corporate off-site trainer/auditor and project coordinator positions.
