Texas Monthly magazine has called it the ‘Best Shakespeare in Texas,’ and it rivals theater performances in Dallas or Houston. It is the Texas Shakespeare Festival, and it is celebrating its 25th season on the Kilgore College Campus.

Bringing in theater professionals from across the country and even the globe, the festival enriches the community. I believe we should give of ourselves in support of the things that matter to us. Preserving our cultural and artistic treasures enhances the region in which we live and broadens our experiences.
As a TSF Guild charter member, I invite you to attend one the exceptional performances of Shakespeare’s As You Like It and Two Gentlemen of Verona; Moliere’s The Learned Ladies; Two by Two, the musical story of Noah; and the children’s show, The Tortoise and the Hare.
I also invite you to work with our neighbors in East Texas on a project of importance to you. It is a great experience and a terrific opportunity to meet fantastic people.   We can accomplish far more for Kilgore, Gregg County and East Texas by working together.
