The recent announcement of the approval of the expansion of Gregg County's Foreign Trade Zone to include Synergy Park is a very positive step for future development in the park. After lengthy discussions with Gulfstream Services, Inc., they have agreed to locate in Kilgore, Texas. They will be located in the 3200 Highway 135 North. This week I will be traveling to Paris, Texas to tour Turner Industries. During the tour the group will be hearing more about the welding training program that was developed in conjunction with Turner Industries and the local workforce board. While there I hope to learn more about the process of setting up a quality program that is specifically dedicated to the development of our young workers. We are dedicated to making sure that everyone in our workforce has the necessary skills they need in order to perform at their best possible level.
